This is the Hoffman 6G15 stand alone reverb board kit. This board is a good "roll your own" stand alone reverb, or for a re-issue replacement.
Tube compliment for the 6G15 is one 12AT7, one 12AX7 and one 6V6 or 6K6. This circuit can drive any reasonable tank, with 10 or 8 ohm inputs. I recommend the Accutronics 9AB3C1B long delay tank, or the 2 spring version.
The board comes "stuffed" with all components soldered in place via the standard "Hoffman" turret lugs. Capacitor substitutions are made as per customer request, just email or call with your needs. (standard it is loaded with Sprague, Poly, Mallory and Solen capacitor combinations for a good well rounded tone)
Like all the other "Hoffman" kits I offer, I can install this board in an existing chassis for a nominal fee, or if you would like me to build the entire standalone reverb (chassis, transfoerms, cabinet, etc, into a finished unit) either covered or in the hardwood of your choice, just email or call me for a quote.
The kti includes the following parts:
- Potentiometer harness with Alpha pots
- cloth covered colored wire
- shielded input cable
- standoffs and mounting screws
- switchcraft inputs jacks and input jack resistors
- ring terminals for ground connections
- heat shrink tubing for shielded cable
- Grid resistors for output tubes
Note: The optional film and foil caps below will almost certainly add to the lead time on this board as they are not always in stock. Please be mindful of this when ordering.
